These terms apply to the penmeester.co.za website and the PenMeester desktop program. By using either, you agree to them.

1. What PenMeester is

PenMeester is a program for scoring freshwater bank angling competitions. This website shows the results that competition organisers publish from the program, and offers the program for download.

2. Results

Results are entered and published by the organisers of each competition, not by PenMeester. We show them as received and do not check them.

The official result of a competition is the one declared by its organiser and, where applicable, the governing federation. If you see a mistake, please contact the organiser of that competition.

3. The program

The PenMeester program is provided as is, without any warranty. Competition data is stored on your own computer: you are responsible for keeping backups of it.

The program checks penmeester.co.za for updates and installs them when there is an internet connection.

4. Scorer and admin accounts

Accounts for syncing and publishing are issued by the PenMeester administrator. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is published with your account.

We may suspend an account or remove published results that are incorrect, misleading, unlawful or abusive.

5. Copyright

You are welcome to share links to results pages and to use results for club, federation and personal purposes.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, PenMeester is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the website or program, including incorrect results, lost data or downtime.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
